Expedia’s two top execs pushed out as chairman Barry Diller asserts control

In a shock to analysts and employees alike, Expedia's board of directors announced Wednesday morning that CEO Mark Okerstrom had resigned, effective immediately, at the request of the board. Chief financial officer Alan Pickerill is also out.
